This natural, rustic, homespun-like & heavyweight linen quilt/duvet/doona cover was born as a result of a custom order from a very special customer. This request gave us inspiration to create unique vintage look-and-feel bed linen which has real charm and character. It is tribute to our homeland, a connection between the past and the present. This rustic linen duvet cover is made of 3 panels: one wide middle panel and 2 narrower side panels featuring a closure at the top bottom (almost the end of the duvet) with charming wooden buttons.

The colour of natural undyed Rustic linen is quite neutral- can be described as taupe, which is neither brown or grey. The weight of undyed Rustic linen is 260gsm, which means the duvet cover itself is quite heavy- King size weights approximately 4 kg! So with an insert inside it will perfectly serve as a weighted blanket!

Heavyweight Rustic linen duvet cover was originally created to be a real winter quilt which keeps you warm and cozy during cold nights, however it can be also used during warmer weather since linen is famous for its unique ability to keep you cool during summer! Flax linen is indisputably the healthiest, most sustainable choice of textile for your contemporary home- it is natural, anti-microbial, resistant to fungi; helping with skin break-outs, irritations, allergies or even eczema. Further, heavyweight linen is hard wearing and sturdy, yet will only get softer and softer with every wash.

Care instructions: normal machine wash under 40C; tumble drying on low heat, no ironing required to maintain relaxed and wrinkled texture; no bleaching and no dry cleaning.
